The Peppermint Program's
We have an attentive and caring staff. Our lead teachers in every classroom are credentialed through the NC Division of Child Development. Many of our staff members also have higher educations in Early Child Development. Our teaching staff provides hands on daily educational experiences. We feel that supporting the social and emotional well being of each child is priority, for every day.
And it is with the love of Jesus Christ that we offer a positive child care experience.
Early Learning
INFANT PROGRAM- LITTLE STARS
We love infants. We have a very small infant program to provide quality care. Our infants are free to explore their world with a variety of materials just for them. With Individual lesson plans the teacher will be sure to meet each child's needs.
TODDLER PROGRAM- LITTLE PEOPLE
Our toddlers are offered a variety of opportunities to explore their world through play. Motor skills and social skills are developed through both structiured and unstructured play. Their days are filled with music, art, dance, storytimes and more.
TWO'S AND THREE'S- DOODLEBUGS
In this exciting class children are learning early preschool skills. Through the world of play or hands on learning these children are gaining great knowledge. Through interaction of learning centers in their class they are learning how to classify, sort, imagine and recognize letters and numbers.
PRESCHOOL- Ages 3-5
Although it may seem like fun and games to preschoolers, the curriculum we follow is packed with educational elements. Games abound which teach pre-reading skills, like phonemic awareness, and letter and sound recognition, as well as basic math concepts, and hands on science exploration. They also have a vaiety of learning centers to engage further prekindergarten skills.
